What a twin does
A twin is an AI, not a person and not a counsellor. When a caller expresses a risk of harm to themselves or others, the twin stops role-play, says clearly that it is an AI, gives the numbers above, and encourages the caller to reach a person. It does not diagnose, advise on medication, or continue the conversation as if nothing was said. What we do
We do not monitor calls in real time. A caller can end any call instantly. Reports about a twin encouraging self-harm are treated as the highest priority under the content policy.
